About SOLA

A soft place to land — for real life.

SOLA is a neurodivergent education and community built under SOLA Wellness. Not therapy. Not a quick fix. A place to understand your brain and keep growing, with people who get it.

Leah Hunter, founder of SOLA

Meet the founder

Hi, I'm Leah.

I created SOLA from a place of deep understanding — both personally and professionally. I know what it's like to feel overwhelmed, to overthink everything, to push through when your body is begging for rest, and to wonder if you'll ever feel like yourself again.

Over the years I've studied the brain, the nervous system, and the patterns that keep us stuck. But more importantly, I've walked beside so many incredible humans who were ready for something different — something softer. As I synthesized all of it, my ideas came together into a single framework: a way to understand the cycle, and to change it.

I believe healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported. You don't have to do this alone.

Why SOLA exists

"People don't need another place to perform. They need a place to understand themselves."

Here's the pattern we kept seeing: people finally understand themselves during therapy or treatment. They build relationships and learn real skills. Then treatment ends — and suddenly the structure, accountability, language, and community that helped them grow are gone.

SOLA is the bridge. A place where learning and healing continue — so the breakthroughs don't fade when the appointments stop. We complement the care you already have; we don't replace it.

We believe

Every brain makes sense.

Behavior is meaningful.

Healing happens through understanding before judgment.

Community changes nervous systems.

Progress matters more than perfection.

Understanding creates possibility.

Where we're headed

An ecosystem, not a single program

SOLA grows by teaching the framework, holding groups that use it, and training others to run their own — so the community sustains itself. Over time, SOLA Wellness will add courses, facilitator training, workshops, and resources for both clients and the therapists who serve them.

Further down the road, SOLA Wellness may grow to include faster access to licensed mental-health care — built carefully, under the right clinical and legal framework, when the time is right. For now, our focus is simple: understand yourself, find your people, and build a life that works with your brain.

You don't have to have it all together. You belong here.
